About Me

I am currently working as Lecturer at Department of Computing (DoC) at NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computing Science. I did my Master in Scientific Computing at Numerical Analysis Department from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden. I holds Bachelor degree in Information Technology from NUST-SEECS.


My interest and research area is Computational Science, particularly computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods and parallel computing for scientific applications.

Experience

  • I did my thesis at FLOW research center at NADA, KTH. Title of my thesis was "Simulation of Flexible Fibers in Stokes Flow" [Report] [Abstract].
  • I worked as Research Assistant at Center for High Performance Computing at SEECS for one year

    • Awards and Scholarship

  • International post-graduate scholarship from Government of Pakistan under NUST faculty development program to carry out master degree in Sweden(2007 - 2009)
  • Merit based Undergraduate Scholarship from National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan (2002 - 2004).
  • I was selected among students from all-over the world to organize Supercomputing 2007 (SC07) in Reno, Nevada, USA
  • I was selected among students from all-over the world to organize Supercomputing 2008 (SC08) in Austin, Texas, USA
  • I was awarded funding by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) R and D div, to present my research paper at HONET 2006 held at Charlotte, NC, USA
