Aamir Shafi's NUST webpages
Welcome to Aamir Shafi's NUST webpages.
I am currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science (SEECS), NUST.
I also direct the High Performance Computing
(HPC lab).

Research Interests
Generally speaking, I am interested in research, design,
implementation, and evaluation of parallel programming hardware,
models, paradigms, and models. I have co-designed and co-implemented
MPJ Express . I continue to spend
most of my time on research and development related to MPJ Express.
Honours

Awarded a travel grant to teach a parallel computing course
at the University of La Coruna, Spain.

I was awarded travel grant for presenting my research paper
at the IEEE Cluster Computing Conference (Cluster 2006) held in
Barcelona, Spain.

I was accepted as a student volunteer for the Supercomputing Conference
2005 SC|05 held at Seattle, WA.

National University of Sciences and Technology.
